Filming-Professor Green

After being informed that I had a chance to film Professor Green in maidstone (wonderland) i couldnt pass that gift up so of course i said yes, and oh my gosh was it worth it not only did i manage to film professor green but i was also involved in interviewing Dane Bowers the Lady who i was workign closely with have given me her email and mobile number so i can send my footage over and hopefully i would of made a new link within the media world here are some pictures of the evening.

Pitch- My idea

Well today i pitched my idea and i felt confident still a bit sketchy on the details but hopefully they could see what i was trying to get at and sorta see what i see in my head, I find out tomorrow if my idea has been picked if it hasnt its not the end of the world its a great time to work with some people ive never worked with before and i get to work on their ideas, i wouldnt mind being a floor manager on some ones production but we will see what idea im put with if not my own ideabeing picked.

Introduction to me.

Hi I am Gemma,

Originally I am for a little town up north near Manchester, I moved to Maidstone Kent to join the University For The Creative Arts, To do a video arts course after a year of doing that course i realalised it wasnt quite for me and i transferred over to do Broadcast Media, The reason I picked this course is because it seem to fit me and my journey on where i wanted to be and who i wanted to become.

After leaving Boradcast Media I will be applying to jobs back up in Manchester to get my foot in the door, and to see if i can set myself up as a freelance runner and work ym way up the ladder to become a producer or to help me get to work at miramax in America.


My educational journey.

I started off wanted to do history and mummies but i had the chance to go on a college taster day in high school, and on this list of courses to look at non touched on history so instead of going to lessons i picked, another course to look at and that course was Media at Blackburn College in Lancashire, i went along did the taser day and instantly fell in love with the whole T.V studio they had there just the camera's alone got me excited and the more they spoke about Film and T.V the more and more i wanted to do it, So that was the next step to the first day of what i am today and in college i did Moving Image at national diploma level and i did, quite well i got two merits and one distinction, after my two years at college i wasnt quite ready to go off into the big bad world of work or university, so i did one extra year at college and did foundation level at Moving image and left that course with a great showreel and ready to take on uni, As i mentioned before i did a year in video arts and after the ups and downs i dropped it and now we are back up to date and i am in my final year of my foundation degree in Broadcast Media.
